PM Modi prays at Janaki Temple, flags off bus service between Janakpur and Ayodhya

Upon his arrival at Janakpur in Nepal, Prime Minister Narendra Modi offered prayers and performed ‘Puja’ at the Janaki Temple. Nepalese PM KP Sharma Oli too accompanied the Prime Minister.

Thanking PM Oli for the Janakpur visit, PM Modi said, “Today's welcome in Nepal shows the affection the people of Nepal have towards the people of India.’

Both the leaders also flagged off bus service between Janakpur and Ayodhya.

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi today chaired a meeting on India’s mission to eliminate TB. "Driven by active public participation, the movement has gained significant momentum over the last few years", Shri Modi stated.

The Prime Minister posted on X;

"Chaired a meeting on India’s mission to eliminate TB. Driven by active public participation, the movement has gained significant momentum over the last few years. Our Government remains committed to working closely with all stakeholders to realise the vision of a TB-free India."
