Addressing a public meeting in Kozhikode, Kerala, Prime Minister Narendra Modi assured the nation that the sacrifices of those martyred in Uri will not go in vain. He took on the leadership of Pakistan and attacked them for the support to terrorism. Prime Minister Modi added that India will continue to isolate Pakistan at the world forum for their support to terrorism.

PM recalled the contributions of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya, Mahatma Gandhi and Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia towards political thinking. The PM said that they were great thinkers and their impact on the country’s politics can be seen even today.

Shri Narendra Modi remarked that the BJP led NDA Government at Centre was committed to the welfare of the poor and it draws inspirations from Mahatma Gandhi and Deendayal Upadhyaya. Shri Modi also took note how despite facing numerous difficulties, Jan Sangh and BJP Karyakartas from Kerala continued to serve the people. The PM emphasized that Centre’s every initiative was aimed at strengthening development across the country.
PM Modi also laid out his vision of a transformed India where the country is free from the grasp of poverty and corruption.

In wake of the recent terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir, Prime Minister Modi expressed grave concern and clearly stated that India would never bend down. He added that the country’s armed forces would continue to give a befitting reply to those who spread terrorism and violence.
“There is one nation in Asia whose aim is that this century does not become Asia's and is associated with terrorism. Wherever terrorism is happening across Asia, the affected nations are blaming only that nation”, the PM said.

I want to tell people of Pakistan that your leaders are misleading you by talking on Kashmir. They can't manage what they have. People of Pakistan should ask their leader that India and Pakistan, got freedom in same year but India exports software and your leaders export terrorists.”

“Come, let’s fight. Let us see who eliminates poverty first, which nation eliminates unemployment first...India or Pakistan” Shri Modi added further.
