Both the UDF and LDF are neck deep in scams and scandals: PM Modi in Kozhikode
I urge the voters of Kerala to support the BJP in the upcoming elections and strengthen the democratic fibre of the country: PM Modi
Political violence unleashed against BJP and RSS Karyakartas cannot weaken our resolve to fight corruption till our last breath: Prime Minister Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed his last public meeting for the day in the southern state of Kerala’s Kozhikode.

Launching a scathing attack on the state government of LDF and Congress allied UDF for their endemic corruption as well as for failing to respect the culture and traditions of the people of Kerala, PM Modi said that both the UDF and LDF are neck-deep in scams and scandals. A lot of their ministers resigned on corruption charges. Both these parties are just different in names but their deeds are all the same. Thus, I want to urge the voters here that electing a Congress or Communist government is like giving a license to their leaders to engage in high-level corruption.”

Further speaking at length about the attack on Kerala’s ancient traditions by the UDF and LDF, PM Modi said, “Kerala’s culture has come under huge attack from the LDF and UDF. Kerala has always been the land of peace and freedom, however, the neglect and insensitivity of the Congress and Communists have brought in a culture of political violence in which many patriotic BJP and RSS workers have been murdered in cold blood. I want to ask the UDF and LDF why are they silent about the political violence taking place in Kerala? Even if they don’t do anything about it, I want to assure all my BJP Karyakartas that their struggle and sacrifices will not go in vain. Such violence will only make the BJP karyakartas even stronger in their resolve to fight the ill-governance of the UDF and LDF.”

India mourns the loss of one of its most distinguished leaders, Dr. Manmohan Singh Ji. Rising from humble origins, he rose to become a respected economist. He served in various government positions as well, including as Finance Minister, leaving a strong imprint on our economic policy over the years. His interventions in Parliament were also insightful. As our Prime Minister, he made extensive efforts to improve people’s lives.

“Dr. Manmohan Singh Ji and I interacted regularly when he was PM and I was the CM of Gujarat. We would have extensive deliberations on various subjects relating to governance. His wisdom and humility were always visible.

In this hour of grief, my thoughts are with the family of Dr. Manmohan Singh Ji, his friends and countless admirers. Om Shanti."
