नुकत्याच पार पडलेल्या फिफा यू-17 विश्वचषक स्पर्धेत सहभागी झालेल्या भारतीय संघाने आज पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी यांची भेट घेतली.
पंतप्रधानांसोबत झालेल्या चर्चेदरम्यान खेळाडूंनी त्यांना आलेले अनुभव सांगितले.
पंतप्रधानांनी खेळाडूंना प्रोत्साहन देतांना सांगितले की, स्पर्धेचा निकाल काय लागला याने निराश न होता ही शिकण्यासाठी मिळालेली एक संधी आहे.उत्साहाने स्पर्धेत सहभागी होणे ही यशाची पहिली पायरी आहे.
भारताने फूटबॉलमध्ये बरेच यश संपादन केले आहे. खेळामुळे व्यक्तिमत्व विकास, आत्मविश्वास आणि सर्वांगीण विकासाला सहाय्य होते, असेही ते म्हणाले.
