श्री अमरनाथ गुहेजवळ ढगफुटीत झालेल्या जीवितहानीबद्दल पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी यांनी दुःख व्यक्त केले आहे.

"श्री अमरनाथ गुहेजवळ झालेली ढगफुटीची घटना वेदनादायी. शोकाकुल कुटुंबियांच्या दुःखात सहभागी. मनोज सिन्हा जी यांच्याशी संवाद साधून परिस्थितीचा आढावा घेतला. बचाव आणि मदतकार्य सुरू आहे. बाधितांना सर्वतोपरी मदत केली जात आहे.”
