72 व्या स्वातंत्र्यदिनी पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी यांनी लाल किल्ल्याच्या तटावरुन राष्ट्राला संबोधित केले.

सध्याचा भारत आत्मविश्वासाने सळसळत असल्याचे सांगून सहा युवा महिला नौदल अधिकाऱ्यांनी केलेली यशस्वी नाविक सागर परिक्रमा, सर्वसाधारण परिस्थितीतून आलेल्या युवा भारतीय क्रीडापटूंची कामगिरी अशा गौरवास्पद कामगिरीचा पंतप्रधानांनी उल्लेख केला. निलगिरी पर्वतावर नीलकुरींजी नावाचे फुल 12 वर्षानंतर फुलते असे त्यांनी सांगितले. संसदेचे नुकतेच संपलेले पावसाळी अधिवेशन सामाजिक न्याय क्षेत्राला समर्पित होते. भारत, जगातली सर्वात मोठी सहावी अर्थव्यवस्था असल्याचे पंतप्रधान म्हणाले.

देशाच्या स्वातंत्र्यासाठी बलिदान देणाऱ्या हुतात्म्यांना, स्वातंत्र्यसैनिकांना त्यांनी आदरांजली अर्पण केली. पोलीस आणि सुरक्षा दलाच्या जवानांना त्यांनी सलाम केला. 1919 मधे बैसाखीच्या दिवशी जालीयनवाला बाग हत्याकांडातल्या बळींचे पंतप्रधानांनी स्मरण केले. देशाच्या काही भागात आलेल्या पुरात बळी पडलेल्या मृतांना त्यांनी श्रध्दांजली अर्पण केली.

सर्व प्रकारच्या श्रृंखलातून मुक्त होण्याचा मार्ग भारत, सर्व जगाला दाखवेल या कवी सुब्रमण्यम भारती यांच्या पंक्तीचा पंतप्रधानांनी उल्लेख केला. अगणित स्वातंत्र्य सैनिकांनी स्वतंत्र भारताचे हे स्वप्न पाहिले होते. हे स्वप्न साकार करण्यासाठी डॉ. बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर यांनी सर्वसमावेशक संविधानाची निर्मिती केली. असा भारत जिथे गरीबांना न्याय मिळतो आणि प्रगती करण्यासाठी सर्वांना समान संधी उपलब्ध असते. राष्ट्र उभारणीसाठी सर्व नागरिक एकत्र येत असल्याचे पंतप्रधान म्हणाले. स्वच्छतागृहे बांधणे, खेड्यापर्यंत वीज पोहोचवणे, स्वयंपाकाच्या गॅस जोडण्या, गृहनिर्माण यासारखी उदाहरणे नमूद करत, विविध क्षेत्रात होणाऱ्या विकासाच्या गतीबाबत त्यांनी माहिती दिली.

अनेक वर्ष प्रलंबित असलेले निर्णय केंद्र सरकारने मार्गी लावले, असे सांगून त्यांनी शेतकऱ्यांसाठी किमान आधारभूत किंमत, वस्तू आणि सेवा कर, वन रॅन्क वन पेन्शन या मुद्यांचा उल्लेख केला. केंद्र सरकारने राष्ट्रहिताला सर्वोच्च स्थानी ठेवल्यामुळे हे शक्य झाल्याचे पंतप्रधान म्हणाले.

2013च्या तुलनेत, आंतरराष्ट्रीय संस्था आणि एजन्सीचा भारताकडे पाहण्याचा दृष्टीकोन बदलला आहे. ‘धोरण अनास्था’ याकडून भारत आता ‘रिफॉर्म, परफॉर्म’ आणि ‘ट्रान्सफॉर्म’ म्हणजेच सुधारणा, कामगिरी आणि परिवर्तन याकडे वळला आहे. अनेक महत्वाच्या बहु राष्ट्रीय संस्थाचा भारत आता सदस्य झाला असून आंतरराष्ट्रीय सौर आघाडीचे नेतृत्व करत असल्याचे पंतप्रधान म्हणाले.

क्रीडा क्षेत्रातल्या कामगिरीबद्दल सेंद्रीय शेतीचे केंद्र ठरत असल्याबद्दल ईशान्य भारत सध्या चर्चेत आहे.

मुद्रा योजनेअंतर्गत, 13 कोटी रुपयांचे कर्ज वितरित करण्यात आले आहे.

भारताला आपल्या संशोधकांचा, वैज्ञानिकांचा अभिमान आहे. मानवी अंतराळ मोहिमेअंतर्गत ‘गगन यान’ 2022 पर्यंत अवकाशात झेपावणार आहे. मानवासह अंतराळात यान पाठवणारा भारत हा जगातला चौथा देश ठरणार आहे.

2022 पर्यंत शेतकऱ्यांचे उत्पन्न दुप्पट करण्याच्या उद्दीष्टाचा पंतप्रधानांनी पुनरुच्चार केला. उज्वला योजना, सौभाग्य योजना यामुळे सर्वसामान्यांच्या जीवनाला प्रतिष्ठा प्राप्त झाली आहे. स्वच्छ भारत अभियानाअंतर्गत, भारताने केलेल्या प्रगतीची जागतिक आरोग्य संघटनेने प्रशंसा केल्याचे पंतप्रधान म्हणाले.

यावर्षी पंडित दीनदयाळ उपाध्याय यांच्या जयंतीदिनी 25 सप्टेंबरला प्रधानमंत्री जन आरोग्य अभियान सुरु करणार असल्याची घोषणा पंतप्रधानांनी केली. देशातल्या गरीबांना उत्तम दर्जाची आणि परवडणाऱ्या दरातल्या आरोग्यसुविधेची खातरजमा करण्यात येत आहे असे सांगून या योजनेमुळे 50 कोटी लोकांना लाभ होणार असल्याचे पंतप्रधान म्हणाले.

या सरकारने सहा कोटी बनावट लाभार्थी शोधुन काढत त्यांना व्यवस्थेबाहेर केले. देशाच्या विकासात प्रामाणिक करदात्याची मोठी भूमिका असते असे सांगून या करदात्यांमुळेच गरीबांच्या जीवनात परिवर्तन घडत आहे असे त्यांनी सांगितले.

भ्रष्टाचारी आणि काळा पैसा बाळगणाऱ्यांची गय केली जाणार नाही, असे त्यांनी बजावले.

भारतीय सैन्य दलातल्या शॉर्ट सर्व्हिस कमीशनवरच्या महिला अधिकारी आता पारदर्शी निवड प्रक्रियेद्वारे परमन्ट कमिशनसाठी पात्र ठरतील अशी घोषणा पंतप्रधानांनी केली.

तिहेरी तलाक मुस्लिम महिलांसाठी अन्यायकारक ठरत असल्याचे सांगून मुस्लिम महिलांना न्याय मिळवून देण्यासाठी आपण कार्यरत असल्याचे ते म्हणाले. जम्मू काश्मीरसाठी माजी पंतप्रधान अटलबिहारी वाजपेयी यांचा ‘इन्सानियत, जम्हुरियत, काश्मीरियत’ या दृष्टीकोनाचा त्यांनी उल्लेख केला. प्रत्येक कुटुंबासाठी घर, सर्वांसाठी वीज, स्वयंपाकासाठी स्वच्छ उर्जा, सर्वांसाठी कौशल्यविकास, सर्वांसाठी आरोग्य, विमा, दळणवळण सुविधा यावर त्यांनी भर दिला.

प्रगतीशील भारत, कुपोषणमुक्त भारत आणि नागरिकांना जीवनशैली प्राप्त करुन देणारा भारत पाहण्यासाठी आपण उत्सुक असल्याचे पंतप्रधान म्हणाले.

PM Modi condoles loss of lives due to stampede at New Delhi Railway Station

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has condoled the loss of lives due to stampede at New Delhi Railway Station. Shri Modi also wished a speedy recovery for the injured.

In a X post, the Prime Minister said;

“Distressed by the stampede at New Delhi Railway Station. My thoughts are with all those who have lost their loved ones. I pray that the injured have a speedy recovery. The authorities are assisting all those who have been affected by this stampede.”
