Chief Minister Narendra Modi today inaugurated a dental hospital, K.K.Shashtri memorial hall, newly renovated municipal swimming pool and laid foundation stone for a government engineering college in the Khokhara area of the Maninagar constituency.

Chief Minister said that eastern belt of Ahmedabad was neglected by the past governments as it was the area of mill laborers. But the present government is providing the benefits of modern facilities to the people of eastern belt as it desires a balanced and inclusive growth in Ahmedabad. If there would have been a government of thief and robbers in Gandhinagar, it would have sold away the land of the shut-downed mills that are worth crores of rupees.

Education Minister Ramanlal Vora said the state government is committed to open one engineering college in every district. Government is heading towards opening twelve new engineering colleges on PPP model.

Revenue Minister Anandiben Patel, Urban Development Minister Nitin Patel, Minister of State for Law Pardipsinh Jadeja, MP Dr.Kirit Solanko, MLAs, AMC office bearers and people in large number were present on the occasion.
