"Satellite towns could be developed, but there was no vision and due to that development suffered here: Shri Modi in Jamshedpur"
"This is a city of handwork. Had the nation seen good administrators things would be very different today: Shri Modi in Jamshedpur"

The Centre’s inapt policies and the Congress’ indifference towards the people who elected them, was the core of Shri Narendra Modi’s address at Jamshedpur in Jharkhand, on the afternoon of 10th April. Shri Modi also spoke of the region’s potential and the Centre’s imprudence in tapping it for the Nation’s progress.

Stating how an impetus to infrastructure and development of satellite towns around it could have made Jamshedpur an economic hub for the Nation, Shri Modi highlighted the Centre’s lack of foresightedness in doing so. “This is a city of handwork. Had the nation seen good administrators, things would be very different today,” said Shri Modi. He spoke of the bleak economic condition and stated how the Centre’s inapt policies had seen steel being imported, even as iron ore was exported. He said, “Have we seen that a nation exports wheat but gets Chappati from outside? We export iron ore but steel is imported.” Such improper practises, Shri Modi said, had led to huge fiscal deficits and derailed the Nation’s progress.

The Congress’ Manifesto was a ‘dhokha patra’, said Shri Modi, as he further stated of the innumerable unfulfilled promises that were repeated in its Manifesto over the years. “For ten years they are in power in Delhi but if nothing good has happened for you then what is the point,” said Shri Modi. He spoke of the Centre’s ‘Black magic’ and its ruining impact on the Nation’s growth, and called for the need to end this.

Referring to the Congress’ rich legacy, Shri Modi said that those who were born with a golden spoon could not relate to poverty. He recalled his early years spent in poverty, and affirmed to the people that his experience then had only made his resolution of serving the poor more firm.

Assuring the people of a strong and stable government under the BJP, Shri Modi urged the people to vote for the Lotus and bring the change the Nation deserves. He said that the Nation needed a ‘sevak’ who would serve the country selflessly, and affirmed that he would rid the Nation of the Congress’ misrule in a span of merely 60 months.

PM to distribute over 50 lakh property cards to property owners under SVAMITVA Scheme
December 26, 2024
Drone survey already completed in 92% of targeted villages
Around 2.2 crore property cards prepared

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will distribute over 50 lakh property cards under SVAMITVA Scheme to property owners in over 46,000 villages in 200 districts across 10 States and 2 Union territories on 27th December at around 12:30 PM through video conferencing.

SVAMITVA scheme was launched by Prime Minister with a vision to enhance the economic progress of rural India by providing ‘Record of Rights’ to households possessing houses in inhabited areas in villages through the latest surveying drone technology.

The scheme also helps facilitate monetization of properties and enabling institutional credit through bank loans; reducing property-related disputes; facilitating better assessment of properties and property tax in rural areas and enabling comprehensive village-level planning.

Drone survey has been completed in over 3.1 lakh villages, which covers 92% of the targeted villages. So far, around 2.2 crore property cards have been prepared for nearly 1.5 lakh villages.

The scheme has reached full saturation in Tripura, Goa, Uttarakhand and Haryana. Drone survey has been completed in the states of Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh and also in several Union Territories.
