On the evening of Tuesday 29th October 2013 the Governor of Gujarat Her Excellency Dr. Kamla ji and Chief Minister Shri Narendra Modi received the Prime Minister of India Dr. Manmohan Singh at Ahmedabad airport. Dr. Manmohan Singh is in Ahmedabad to attend the inaugural ceremony of National Museum dedicated to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. Both the Governor and the Chief Minister will be present at the function.
The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has highlighted the remarkable progress in expanding Metro connectivity across India and its pivotal role in transforming urban transport and improving the ‘Ease of Living’ for millions of citizens.
