PM Modi, Malaysian Deputy PM discuss bilateral cooperation in fields of counter-terrorism, cyber security and trans-national crimes

Dato’ Seri Dr. Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister of Malaysia called on Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today.

The Prime Minister warmly recalled his successful visit to Malaysia last year for the ASEAN and related Summits, as well as for a bilateral visit.

Dr. Ahmad Zahid Hamidi briefed the Prime Minister on the state of bilateral cooperation, especially in the fields of counter-terrorism, cyber security and trans-national crimes.

The Prime Minister reiterated his invitation to the Malaysian Prime Minister to visit India in the near future.

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has condoled the loss of lives due to stampede in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh.

The Prime Minister’s Office said in a X post;

“Pained by the stampede in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. My thoughts are with those who have lost their near and dear ones. I pray that the injured recover soon. The AP Government is providing all possible assistance to those affected: PM @narendramodi”
