आज 11 मे हा दिवस भारताच्या इतिहासातील सर्वात अभिमानास्पद दिवसांपैकी एक आहे. आज भारतातील शास्त्रज्ञांनी पोखरणमध्ये अशी कामगिरी केली होती, ज्यामुळे भारतमातेच्या प्रत्येक अपत्याची मान अभिमानाने उंचावली होती. अटलजींनी भारताच्या यशस्वी अणुचाचणीची घोषणा केली तो दिवस माझ्यासाठीही अविस्मरणीय आहे. पोखरण अणुचाचणीद्वारे भारताने आपली वैज्ञानिक क्षमता तर सिद्ध केलीच, पण जागतिक स्तरावर भारताला एक नवी उंचीही मिळवून दिली. अटलजींच्याच शब्दात सांगायचे तर, आम्ही आमच्या अथक प्रवासात कधी विश्रांती घेतली नाही. कोणत्याही आव्हानासमोर शरणागती पत्करली नाही. मी सर्व देशवासियांना आजच्या राष्ट्रीय तंत्रज्ञान दिनाच्या खूप खूप शुभेच्छा देतो.राष्ट्रीय तंत्रज्ञान दिन 2023 निमित्त 11 मे रोजी नवी दिल्लीत आयोजित कार्यक्रमाचे पंतप्रधानांच्या हस्ते उद्‌घाटन
