आजचा हा दिवस अद्भुत आहे, आजचा हा क्षण संस्मरणीय आहे, हे दृश्य अद्भुत आहे. आज माझ्या एका बाजूला अथांग समुद्र आहे तर दुसऱ्या बाजूला भारतमातेच्या वीर सैनिकांचे अथांग सामर्थ्य आहे. आज माझ्या एका बाजूला अनंत क्षितिज आहे तर दुसऱ्या बाजूला अनंत शक्तींना सामावून घेणारे हे विशाल, विराट आयएनएस विक्रांत आहे. सागराच्या पाण्यावर सूर्याच्या किरणांची ही चमक एका प्रकारे वीर जवानांनी उजळवलेले दिवाळीचे दिवे आहेत. या आमच्या अलौकिक दीपमाळा आहेत, यावेळी नौदलाच्या तुम्हा सर्व शूर सैनिकांमध्ये मी दिवाळीचे पवित्र पर्व साजरे करत आहे हे माझे भाग्य आहे.प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी यांनी आयएनएस विक्रांतवर साजरी केली दिवाळी
