तुम्ही लोक खूप गंभीर आहात, त्यामुळे मला असे वाटते की हा सोहळाही खूप गंभीर आहे. काही दिवसांपूर्वी मी राजस्थान उच्च न्यायालयाच्या प्लॅटिनम ज्युबिली समारंभाला गेलो होतो. आणि, आज सर्वोच्च न्यायालयाच्या 75 वर्षांच्या वाटचालीच्या निमित्ताने जिल्हा न्यायपालिकेची राष्ट्रीय परिषद आयोजित करण्यात आली आहे. सर्वोच्च न्यायालयाची 75 वर्षे, हा केवळ एका संस्थेचा प्रवास नाही. हा आहे भारताच्या संविधानाचा आणि संविधानिक मूल्यांचा प्रवास! हा प्रवास आहे- एक लोकशाही म्हणून भारताचा अधिक परिपक्व होण्याचा प्रवास! आणि या प्रवासात आपल्या संविधान निर्मात्यांचे आणि न्यायव्यवस्थेतील अनेक जाणकारांचे योगदान मोलाचे आहे. यात पिढ्यानपिढ्या कोट्यवधी देशबांधवांचे योगदान आहे, ज्यांनी प्रत्येक परिस्थितीत न्यायव्यवस्थेवर विश्वास ठेवला आहे. भारतातील जनतेने सर्वोच्च न्यायालयावर, आपल्या न्यायव्यवस्थेवर कधीच अविश्वास दाखवला नाही. त्यामुळे सर्वोच्च न्यायालयाची ही 75 वर्षे लोकशाहीची माता म्हणून भारताचा बहुमान आणखी वाढवत आहेत. हे आपल्या सांस्कृतिक घोषणेला बळ देते – ज्यामध्ये म्हटले आहे सत्यमेव जयते, नानृतम्. यावेळी देश आपल्या स्वातंत्र्याची 75 वर्षे पूर्ण करून संविधानाचा 75 वा वर्धापन दिन साजरा करणार आहे. त्यामुळे या प्रसंगी अभिमानही आहे, सन्मान आहे आणि प्रेरणा आहे. या निमित्त मी तुम्हा सर्व विधिज्ञांचे आणि सर्व देशवासियांचे अभिनंदन करतो. यानिमित्ताने राष्ट्रीय जिल्हा न्यायिक परिषदेच्या महत्त्वाच्या कार्यक्रमासाठी मी तुम्हा सर्वांना शुभेच्छा देतो.
