आपणा सर्वांसाठी आणि सर्व देशवासीयांसाठी इतकेच नव्हे तर जगभरातल्या लोकशाहीप्रेमी नागरिकांसाठीही हा अभिमानाचा क्षण आहे. लोकशाहीचा हा उत्सव मोठ्या अभिमानाने साजरा करण्याची ही वेळ आहे. संविधानाचा 75 वर्षांचा अविस्मरणीय प्रवास आणि जगातल्या सर्वात महान आणि विशाल लोकशाहीचा प्रवास, यामागे असलेली आपल्या संविधान निर्मात्यांची दूर दृष्टी, आपल्या संविधान निर्मात्यांचे योगदान घेऊन आपण आज आगेकूच करत आहोत. 75 वर्षे पूर्ण झाल्यानिमित्त उत्सव साजरा करण्याचा हा क्षण आहे.संसदही या उत्सवात सहभागी होऊन आपल्या भावना व्यक्त करत आहे याचा मला आनंद आहे. मी सर्व माननीय सदस्यांचे आभार मानतो. ज्यांनी या उत्सवात सहभाग घेतला त्या सर्वांचे मी अभिनंदन करतो.
