अरब न्यूजला दिलेल्या मुलाखतीत पंतप्रधान मोदी म्हणाले की,“शेजारधर्म प्रथम” हा आमच्या सरकारच्या परराष्ट्र धोरणाचा नेहमीच मार्गदर्शक दृष्टिकोन राहील. भारताचे सौदी अरेबियाशी असलेले संबंध हे भारताच्या विस्तारित शेजाऱ्यांशी असलेल्या संबंधांपैकी सर्वात महत्त्वाचे असल्याचेही त्यांनी सांगितले.
