The Viksit Bharat Ambassador meet-up recently convened at the Rajasthan International Centre in Jaipur, drawing over 800 participants from diverse backgrounds. Among them were students representing prestigious universities and professionals from associations like CA, medical, and legal sectors. During the meet-up, the esteemed chief guest, Union Minister Anurag Thakur, highlighted India's transformative journey under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the last decade.

Minister Thakur commended the nation's economic growth, citing that 25 crore people have risen above the poverty line, showcasing a significant shift in the country's socio-economic landscape. He also discussed how the government's programs promoted entrepreneurship, innovation, and economic inclusivity - the three essential components of the Viksit Bharat 2047 mission.

Dignitaries like State Cabinet Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore graced the event. Rathore emphasized the importance of the Viksit Bharat movement in promoting progress and empowerment and stressed the need for citizens to actively participate in realizing India's potential as a global powerhouse.

One of the focal points of Minister Thakur's discourse was India's burgeoning start-up ecosystem, which has flourished under favourable policies, nurturing the nation's 'Yuva Shakti' or youth power. The minister also lauded the rise of unicorns and the creation of millions of job opportunities, attributing these achievements to a conducive ecosystem for innovation and growth.

The discussion also delved into the government's proactive measures in transforming the informal economy into a formal one. Initiatives like Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT), e-Shram cards, PM SVANidhi scheme, and PM Vishwakarma Yojana were highlighted as catalysts for inclusive development, ensuring welfare funds reach beneficiaries efficiently and empowering marginalized sections of society.

Minister Thakur highlighted India's technological advancements, such as the upcoming 'drone didis', which will revolutionize agriculture via drone-assisted operations. He added that these innovations align with India's vision of leveraging technology for sustainable growth and development across sectors.

During the Jaipur meet-up, attendees embraced their role as Viksit Bharat Ambassadors, emphasizing the importance of collaboration between government efforts and citizen engagement to promote India's holistic progress.

Following the Viksit Bharat Ambassador meetup in Jaipur, Minister Thakur also addressed a gathering of dignitaries, industrialists, and entrepreneurs from the city.
