Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today addressed the BJP's 'Seva Hi Sangathan' programme through video conferencing. PM Modi thanked BJP Karyakartas who have been working tirelessly across India, helping those in need amid Coronavirus crisis. He said, “At a time when everyone in the world is busy protecting themselves, you have given up your worries and dedicated yourself to the service of the poor and needy.”

At the beginning of the event, seven state units of the BJP had given a presentation about the work done under ‘Seva hi Sangathan’ Abhiyan by them during the lockdown. The Prime Minister appreciated work done by karyakartas in several states across India.

While reviewing relief works by BJP Karyakartas during lockdown, PM Modi said, “This is the biggest 'Seva Yajna' in human history. I urge you to prepare Digital booklets documenting the relief works, at mandal, district, state & country levels. The booklets should be in at least 3 languages.”

PM Modi asserted, “I knew that you were working continuously in the Corona era. But in the difficult situations of lockdown, when everything was closed, you have made the lives of millions of people easy. You have become their companion. This is a huge job.”

“Our organization is not an election winning machine for us. For us, our organization means service. For us, our organization means ‘Sabka Sang, Sabka Sath’. For us, our organization means ‘Sabka Sukh, Sabki Smariddhi’. Our organization is going to work for the benefit of society. For us, it’s always been Nation First,” the Prime Minister said while addressing Karyakartas at 'Seva Hi Sangathan' event.

PM Modi remarked that the government took the right steps at the right time that helped to save the lives of people from the deadly virus and this is why our country is much better placed than many other nations with respect to the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic.

Presenting an account of the government’s decisions to help those affected by the lockdown, Prime Minister Modi highlighted that the government had started Garib Kalyan Yojana package and launched special schemes for food and employment for the poor. PM Modi extended Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana for a further five months till Diwali, Chhath, November-end for distributing free foodgrains to the poor.

“We always believed power to be a medium for service in politics. We never made power a medium for our gain. Selfless service has always been our pledge, our values" said PM Modi at BJP’s ‘Seva Hi Sangathan’ Abhiyan.

Also, PM Modi gave the mantra of Seven ‘S’ to the Karyakartas. He said that every BJP Karyakarta should go ahead with the power of seven ‘S’. These seven ‘S’ are :
First - Sadbhav
Second - Santulan
Third - Sanyam
Fourth - Samanvay
Fifth - Sakaratmakta
Sixth - Sadbhavna
And Seventh - Samvad

Stressing on continuing selfless service amid Corona crisis, PM Modi said, “Our Mahayagna should not stop in this period of Corona, and our fight against the pandemic should not be weakened either. The festival season is starting now, but Corona's danger is still the same. For this, you have to be careful and keep others aware too.”
