In a democracy like India, people of the country should be prioritized over ‘Familial Dynastic Politics’: PM Modi
People should beware this unholy BRS-Congress Alliance as they have only promoted misdeeds for Telangana: PM Modi

Addressing a public meeting in Nizamabad in Telangana, Prime Minister Modi said that he is happy to have presented the state with various developmental projects worth Rs. 8,000 crores.

On the establishment of the NTPC Plant, PM Modi stated, “The NTPC Plant will enable a faster industrialization of the state of Telangana.” He added that this project will also enable ‘ease of living ‘and ‘critical care’. “Projects like these have strengthened our resolve towards the development and progress of Telangana,” PM Modi said. He said, “Your one son United you all with India and this second son will ensure the development of All”.

PM Modi congratulated the women of Telangana and said that it was due to their efforts that the Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam was passed with a resounding majority. Women-led Development which was a distant reality is now a dream come true, PM Modi added.

PM Modi said, “Telangana is a state with brimming talent, always contributing to the developmental prospects for India, as even during the pandemic Telangana produced COVID Vaccines for the world.” He added that to enable Telangana’s aspirations many infrastructure projects have been launched in the state enabling better connectivity.

PM Modi added that on one hand when the Central Government has aided the development of Telangana, on the other hand the BRS Government has only given the people corruption and loot. PM Modi said, “In a democracy like India, people of the country should be prioritized over ‘Familial & Dynastic Politics’. He added that the blatant promotion of familial and dynastic politics can be seen when CM KCR is only promoting the interests of his family by promoting his son and daughter which has bred rampant corruption in the state.

“Promoting familial interests will destroy states and systems” said PM Modi. He added that BJP has been the only Party to facilitate and promote the common interests and aspirations of the people.

On the BRS-Congress’s discrete and deceitful alliance, PM Modi said that the people should beware this unholy BRS-Congress Alliance as they have only promoted misdeeds for Telangana. Whenever, the Congress is not able to form the Government it does a ‘Back-Door’ entry and allies with the party in power, said PM Modi. This was seen in the state of Telangana and was clearly visible even during the Karnataka elections when BRS helped Congress covertly, added PM Modi.

“It is the nature of the parties like these who make narrow and fake promises to the people to rule over them for 5 years,” said PM Modi. Both Congress and BRS indulge in such fake promises that they cannot fulfill and they have been continuously betraying the trust of the people of Telangana, PM Modi added.

BJP on the other hand has a proven track record of fulfilling all guarantees. We have given employment opportunities to lakhs of youth unlike the BRS-Congress that has only given false hope to the youth of the state, added PM Modi. In order to enable the empowerment of the poor and downtrodden sections and to better their educational outcomes we will also establish the Central Tribal University in honour of Sammakka-Sarakka.

“Another issue with the Congress is that it wishes to deprive the Minorities of its rights”, said PM Modi. It claims that rights of the people should be equal to their proportion in the population which goes completely against the various South Indian States. This is a dangerous trend started by the Congress, threatening the very basis of the Minority populations. PM Modi stated “I believe that the poor comprise the largest proportion of our population and we must make efforts for their development”.

On the Farmers issue in Telangana, PM Modi said that the BRS Government has deprived and neglected the farmers. They have only announced loan waivers and have not taken any concrete steps to improve their plight, added PM Modi. He said on the other hand we have enabled direct income support through the PM-KISAN, increased MSP allocations, and launched the ‘One District One Product’ Scheme that has benefitted farmers across the country. PM Modi said, ‘The National Turmeric Board will be established in Telangana that will aid the potential of the Turmeric Farmers in the state also increasing its potential and associated supply and value chains.

In an expose on Telangana's Chief Minister KCR, PM Modi stated, "When BJP secured 48 seats in the Hyderabad Municipal Corporation election, KCR sought assistance. Previously, he used to welcome me at the airport, but that stopped suddenly. After the election, KCR visited me in Delhi, expressing his desire to join the NDA and seeking our support. I informed him that Modi cannot be aligned with his actions. If BJP comes to power in Telangana, we will expose every bad deed of the KCR government."

In conclusion, PM Modi said that if BJP is given an opportunity in Telangana it will ensure a robust ‘Double-Engine Sarkaar’ that will enable the catering of the needs and aspirations of all the people across the state.

PM to launch UN International Year of Cooperatives 2025
Theme of the conference, "Cooperatives Build Prosperity for All," aligns with the Indian Government’s vision of “Sahkar Se Samriddhi”

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will inaugurate ICA Global Cooperative Conference 2024 and launch the UN International Year of Cooperatives 2025 on 25th November at around 3 PM at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi.

ICA Global Cooperative Conference and ICA General Assembly is being organised in India for the first time in the 130 year long history of International Cooperative Alliance (ICA), the premier body for the Global Cooperative movement. The Global Conference, hosted by Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Limited (IFFCO), in collaboration with ICA and Government of India, and Indian Cooperatives AMUL and KRIBHCO will be held from 25th to 30th November.

The theme of the conference, "Cooperatives Build Prosperity for All," aligns with the Indian Government’s vision of “Sahkar Se Samriddhi” (Prosperity through Cooperation). The event will feature discussions, panel sessions, and workshops, addressing the challenges and opportunities faced by cooperatives worldwide in achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in areas such as poverty alleviation, gender equality, and sustainable economic growth.

Prime Minister will launch the UN International Year of Cooperatives 2025, which will focus on the theme, “Cooperatives Build a Better World,” underscoring the transformative role cooperatives play in promoting social inclusion, economic empowerment, and sustainable development. The UN SDGs recognize cooperatives as crucial drivers of sustainable development, particularly in reducing inequality, promoting decent work, and alleviating poverty. The year 2025 will be a global initiative aimed at showcasing the power of cooperative enterprises in addressing the world’s most pressing challenges.

Prime Minister will also launch a commemorative postal stamp, symbolising India’s commitment to the cooperative movement. The stamp showcases a lotus, symbolising peace, strength, resilience, and growth, reflecting the cooperative values of sustainability and community development. The five petals of the lotus represent the five elements of nature (Panchatatva), highlighting cooperatives' commitment to environmental, social, and economic sustainability. The design also incorporates sectors like agriculture, dairy, fisheries, consumer cooperatives, and housing, with a drone symbolising the role of modern technology in agriculture.

Hon’ble Prime Minister of Bhutan His Excellency Dasho Tshering Tobgay and Hon’ble Deputy Prime Minister of Fiji His Excellency Manoa Kamikamica and around 3,000 delegates from over 100 countries will also be present.
