PM Narendra Modi today addressed a public meeting in Faridkot, Punjab. Urging people of the state to elect a BJP-SAD alliance Government in the upcoming elections, Shri Modi said that Punjab needed a Government that was committed to welfare of its people and had the vision of development.

The Prime Minister said that Punjab, being a border state needed more security for its people. He said, “Punjab shares its border with Pakistan. For security, the state needs a Government committed to safety of people not only of the state but entire Nation.”

Shri Narendra Modi appreciated the role of Shri Parkash Singh Badal and said that he was a tall leader. “Shri Parkash Singh Badal is a tall leader who only thinks about developing Punjab.
