Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi addressed public meetings in Kangra and Sundernagar, Himachal Pradesh. While speaking at the event, PM Modi expressed his gratitude to the citizens for their enthusiastic support to the party across the state.

Addressing the huge gathering, the Prime Minister said that these elections are not only about forming a government but building a 'Bhavya' & 'Divya' Himachal.

Attacking the Congress Government, PM Modi remarked, “When elections approach, every party gears up the preparations but Congress seems to have backed off already in Himachal Pradesh. People across the country are cutting themselves off from the Congress because of their 'Karnamas’.”

During the 10 years of UPA, we only heard about scams and corruption. But today things have changed, he added furthermore.

"No senior Congress leader came here to campaign. They have already left the field leaving everything on fate," he claimed. PM Modi said there was anger in the hearts of the people of Himachal and on polling day, the Congress the reap the "fruits of its sins".

Talking about Indian Army, Prime Minister expressed that Himachal Pradesh is the 'Veer Bhoomi' and we are proud of our jawans of this land who guard the country.

At the event, PM Modi talked about central Government’s electricity drive, and said over 18,000 villages did not have electricity since independence, we took up task of electrification of such villages in mission mode.

Also, the PM highlighted the significance of Mudra Yojana, and said that we are empowering the budding entrepreneurs across the country. He also talked about benefits of Pradhan Mantri Saubhagya Yojana.

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi received a telephone call today from the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, H.E. Mr. Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

President Mirziyoyev conveyed his warm greetings and felicitations to Prime Minister and the people of India on the upcoming 79th Independence Day of India.

The two leaders reviewed progress in several key areas of bilateral cooperation, including trade, connectivity, health, technology and people-to-people ties.

They also exchanged views on regional and global developments of mutual interest, and reiterated their commitment to further strengthen the age-old ties between India and Central Asia.
