PM Modi takes pot shot at the Congress leaders for meeting the Chinese Ambassador on Doklam matter instead of speaking to the MEA

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today hit out at the Congress for insulting Gujarat. He alleged that the Congress only worked for welfare of rich and never thought about well being of the poor section of the society.

The PM slated, “The same Mani Shankar Aiyar, who insulted Gujarat, held secret meetings with Pakistan High Commissioner. What was the reason? Why are people who previously held high posts in military-intelligence establishment of Pakistan writing that we should help make Ahmed Patel the CM.”

He also said that with the coming of the DMIC, Banaskantha will become a transport hub which would ensure opportunities to the youth of this region.

At Sanand, PM Modi lashed out at the Congress party and spoke at length about infrastructure development in the region. He highlighted how several people were getting employment as a result of factories running in the region. He also highlighted several aspects of agricultural growth and welfare measures for the farming community like neem coating of urea, soil health cards, drip irrigation etc.

He mentioned how law and order situation in the state improved significantly under the BJP led governments.

The PM also said that it was due to demonetisation that the Congress was in tears. He affirmed, “Demonetisation was aimed at attacking black money and corruption and since those who looted people are facing the heat, they are now in tears.”

At Kaalol, the Prime Minister said that the BJP was fighting these elections on the issue of development whereas Congress was back to their old tricks. He said that a generational shift had not brought in a new political culture for the party and they relied on their same divide and rule politics.

“With the Mantra of Shanti, Ekta and Sadbhavana, BJP Governments have taken Gujarat to new heights of progress. A society that is united and harmonious can progress well”, the PM remarked further.

PM Modi said that electrification of 18,000 villages was being ensured in mission mode across the country. “When I first spoke about my intent to ensure electrification of villages in Gujarat, the state Congress leaders mocked me. They said it can never happen, they also asked me- you have not headed a Panchayat how can you promise this. We proved them wrong, ensured villages get power”, he added.

The PM also took a jibe at the Congress and said they were involved in dynastic politics. He added, “There are some people in Delhi whose sole Mission is 'Parivar Bachao.' These are the same people who, in an hour of voting yesterday, started saying EVMs are hacked thanks to Blue Tooths! Some logic this is.”

Speaking at a rally in Vadodara, PM Modi elaborated that the Gujarat elections were about ‘Vikas’ agenda of the BJP versus Congress’ politics of ‘Vinash.’

Prime Minister lauded the country’s armed forces and Jammu and Kashmir police for the surgical strike and tackling terror outfits in Jammu and Kashmir. He hailed the role of J&K police, BSF, CRPF and the army for their effectively countering the terrorists who attacked a bus headed to the Amarnath shrine.

Taking a pot shot at the Congress party, the PM said, “When our soldiers were fighting in Doklam, Congress leaders were meeting the Chinese Ambassador. When asked why, he said - to get a sense of what is happening in Doklam. Now, you tell me - in such times should we trust our authorities more or the Chinese!”

Shri Modi also pointed out how demonetisation unearthed black money and helped crackdown shell companies across the country.

On infrastructure development, the PM hit out at the Congress for spreading lies. He said, “My Government is for the poor. I can't understand the lies Congress keeps saying. When we build a state of the art bus terminus for Vadodara, do we do it because Mukesh Ambani, Tata or Birla uses it? No we make this to serve the poor. Our lives are devoted to serving the poor.”

The PM said that it was important to safeguard rights of poor and middle class. In this context he shed light on several welfare measures like ensuring gas connections and building toilets for the poor.

PM to distribute over 50 lakh property cards to property owners under SVAMITVA Scheme
December 26, 2024
Drone survey already completed in 92% of targeted villages
Around 2.2 crore property cards prepared

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will distribute over 50 lakh property cards under SVAMITVA Scheme to property owners in over 46,000 villages in 200 districts across 10 States and 2 Union territories on 27th December at around 12:30 PM through video conferencing.

SVAMITVA scheme was launched by Prime Minister with a vision to enhance the economic progress of rural India by providing ‘Record of Rights’ to households possessing houses in inhabited areas in villages through the latest surveying drone technology.

The scheme also helps facilitate monetization of properties and enabling institutional credit through bank loans; reducing property-related disputes; facilitating better assessment of properties and property tax in rural areas and enabling comprehensive village-level planning.

Drone survey has been completed in over 3.1 lakh villages, which covers 92% of the targeted villages. So far, around 2.2 crore property cards have been prepared for nearly 1.5 lakh villages.

The scheme has reached full saturation in Tripura, Goa, Uttarakhand and Haryana. Drone survey has been completed in the states of Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh and also in several Union Territories.
