Campaigning in Delhi for the elections on Sunday, February 1, 2015, the Prime┬аMinister spoke about need of a stable and responsible Government in Delhi.┬аReferring to the BJPтАЩs efforts on solving the water issue the PM said, тАЬCongress┬аgovernment in Haryana and Delhi played their people against each other. This┬аwas their culture. BJP moved towards solving issues.тАЭ Shri Narendra Modi said┬аthat as soon as BJP government came to power at Centre and in Haryana, all┬аproblems of water shortage were addressed and resolved.
The PM said that every other party in Delhi are in a mood of competition of what┬аthe biggest lie to tell the people is going to be. тАЬOn one side there are false┬аpromises and lies. I don't think there have ever been so much lies in polls as there┬аis this time,тАЭ said the Prime Minister.
Shri Narendra Modi noted that Delhi needs a responsible government that has┬аpeople who have worked on the ground. The PM said, тАЬTo be in Government is a┬аserious responsibility. It is about understanding the pains of the common man.┬аRunning away does not help.тАЭ Shri Modi made it clear that a government which┬аdoes Andolans day in and day out are never interested in solutions.
The PM assumed that to develop India, all-round development is needed. Only┬аone area's development would not help the entire Nation. Shri Modi highlighted┬аnumerous steps and initiatives that are being taken by the Government. He also┬аpromised to authorise the colonies. тАЬOne side there were unauthorised colonies┬аand other side unauthorised promises. We took the decision to authorise them,тАЭ┬аhe said.
Several top BJP CM candidate Dr. Kiran Bedi, MP Parvesh Verma and several top┬аBJP leaders were present on the occasion.
