Speaking at a public meeting in Haridwar, Shri Narendra Modi remarked that people of Uttarakhand had made up their minds to remove the tainted Congress government from power in the state elections. Shri Modi said that it should be the collective resolve of people of Uttarakhand to rid the state from a government that had never thought of its people’s welfare.

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has condoled passing of renowned writer and Jnanpith Awardee Vinod Kumar Shukla ji. Shri Modi stated that he will always be remembered for his invaluable contribution to the world of Hindi literature.
