Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, today witnessed the International Fleet Review (IFR-2016) at Visakhapatnam.
The Fleet Review and flypast today, in the presence of the President of India, highlighted the prowess of the Indian Navy, besides bringing together Navies from around the world. PM Modi is scheduled to witness an operational demonstration, and deliver an address, as part of the International Fleet Review, at Visakhapatnam tomorrow.
The Prime Minister also attended the Presidential Band Concert performed by the Indian Navy Symphonic Orchestra.

Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, today condoled the loss of lives in an accident in Nuh, Haryana. "The state government is making every possible effort for relief and rescue", Shri Modi said.

The Prime Minister' Office posted on X :

"हरियाणा के नूंह में हुआ हादसा अत्यंत हृदयविदारक है। मेरी संवेदनाएं शोक-संतप्त परिजनों के साथ हैं। ईश्वर उन्हें इस कठिन समय में संबल प्रदान करे। इसके साथ ही मैं हादसे में घायल लोगों के शीघ्र स्वस्थ होने की कामना करता हूं। राज्य सरकार राहत और बचाव के हरसंभव प्रयास में जुटी है: PM @narendramodi"
