"Time to reject a government that is not bothered about the people: Narendra Modi"

On the evening of Wednesday 23rd April 2014 Shri Narendra Modi addressed people across India in yet another round of Bharat Vijay Rallies through 3D technology. Shri Modi urged the people of India to elect a strong government that can lay the foundation of a Bhavya and Divya Bharat that will fulfill the aspirations of our youth. Shri Modi affirmed that the voting in the earlier phases clearly established that the departure of the Congress is certain and now the focus is on electing a strong and stable government that looks towards the future of India.

Shri Modi affirmed that for a very long time the politics of ‘Jod-Tod’ (make and break) prevailed and this has caused great problems. He said, “Such kind of politics must stop now. Sometimes CBI is misused and sometime other tricks are used. It is high time these shameful acts stop. Let us elect a strong government that is not dependent on jod-tod politics.”

In his speech Shri Modi attacked the Congress-led UPA government saying they are not bothered about the future of the people and added that the UPA cannot take the nation ahead. He rejected those who keep saying nothing is possible, saying that it is possible to bring a positive change in society. Shri Modi recalled how Gujarat, which was hit by a devastating quake in 2001 emerged out of the train of destruction and proved critics wrong in a short span of time. He recalled the trying circumstances in which he took over as CM in October 2001 and how Gujarat overcame the destruction of the quake and scaled new heights of progress.

Shri Modi attacked the Congress for their dismal record on women safety. “Congress talking about woman empowerment and woman safety does not sound proper,” he pointed, referring to the history of the Congress towards women from the Tandoor Case to the recent episode in Latur. He asked why are women unsafe in states ruled by the Congress. Referring to the misgovernance of the Congress he shared how the UPA stopped evaluation of the 20 point programme once it was clear that no UPA state featured in the list of top performing states in its execution. He even highlighted how the leader of the Congress Party mock the poor.

Lakhs of people across several states of India gathered at the various venues to hear Shri Modi speak during the 3D rallies. The 3D rallies are a historic medium adopted by Shri Modi to connect with people across India.
