Addressing the 104th Indian Science Congress, Prime Minister Modi said that our best science and technology institutions should further strengthen their basic research in line with leading global standards. At the CII-Keidanren business luncheon, PM Modi said that Japan in India is benchmark of quality, excellence, honesty and integrity. He added that India is familiar with Japan's contributions to development in other parts of world. PM said that 21st Century is Asia’s century that has emerged as new centre of global growth. PM Modi remarked that India is pursuing a new direction of economic reforms and the government's resolve is to make the country most open economy in the world.
