Palanpur: Thursday: Addressing a huge convention of tribal people at Ambaji today, Chief Minister Shri Narendrabhai Modi reiterated his firms resolve to generate huge employment opportunities for the Banaskantha district, under the structured and meticulously planned initiatives of developing the pilgrim centre. Outlining the theme to architect the 51 Shakti-Piths at the Gabbar Parikrama-The Circular Route with spiritual significance - , spread across the country, Chief Minister envisioned total and all round development of the tribal people from Umargam to Ambaji.
Under the State level celebration of 62nd Independence Day, Chief Minister commenced twelve odd development projects emanating expenditure of Rs.22 Crores. After Independence, for the first time, recognizing the need of the tribal sector, with principal focus on education and health the State Government has launched structured efforts intended to provide employment opportunities to the poorest of the poor. What is not done for the Tribals in 62 years is to be done in the next 61 months, Said the C.M. Chief Minister also launched the Dudhala Pashu Project for the Tribal families, under the Ambitious Vanbandhu Project with the Budget outlay of Rs.15000/ Crores.
Ministers Shri Narottam Patel, Shri Jaynarayan Vyas, Shri Jaysinh Chauhan, M.D.Tourism Corporation Shri P.D.Vaghela, Deputy President BJP-State Unit- Shri Haribhai Chaudhari, Shri Daulatgiri Gauswami, Shri Javansinh Solanki, Collector Shri R.J.Patel, eminent leaders and people in large numbers attended the convention.
