On Sunday 25th November 2012 a galaxy of top BJP national leaders came to Gujarat to campaign for the party in the run up to the 2012 Vidhan Sabha elections.

Entire BJP behind Shri Narendra Modi: Shri Arun Jaitley

Shri Arun Jaitley campaigned in Jamnagar. He expressed confidence that the BJP will perform better in Gujarat than it did in 2002 and 2007 under the leadership of Shri Narendra Modi. He added that the entire party is supporting Shri Modi and that the Congress is targeting Shri Modi only because they do not have a leader to match his stature.

Congress carries only Gandhi surname, Narendra Modi his ideals for growth: Shri Rajnath Singh

Former BJP President Shri Rajnath Singh addressed public meetings in Bhavnagar district and termed Shri Modi as most popular and charismatic leader who is carrying forward works of Gandhiji in Gujarat.

Shri Singh highlighted the growth in Gujarat despite the obstructionist mindset of the Congress party.

CMs of Madhya Pradesh and Jharkhand make a strong pitch among voters to vote for BJP in Gujarat elections

Jharkhand Chief Minister Shri Arjun Munda addressed a public meeting in Gandevi, Navsari district and said that the people of Gujarat should ensure that the nation develops like Gujarat and that the people of Gujarat must vote for the BJP.

Speaking in Surat district, MP CM Shri Shivraj Singh Chauhan praised the development of Gujarat over the last decade. He said Shri Modi has made Gujarat a shining star not only for India but also across the world. He highlighted the 24/7 electricity for farmers and the growth rate in Gujarat.

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi remembered Sri Mannathu Padmanabhan on his birth anniversary today. Shri Modi lauded him as a true visionary, who made relentless efforts to uplift society, empower women and remove human suffering.

In a post on X, Shri Modi wrote:

"Remembering Sri Mannathu Padmanabhan on his birth anniversary. He was a true visionary, who made relentless efforts to uplift society, empower women and remove human suffering. His emphasis on education and learning was also noteworthy. We remain committed to fulfilling his vision for our nation."
