Sharing his thoughts on his blog titled ‘Remembering Loh Purush and Kisan Putra Sardar Patel on his birth anniversary’ Shri Narendra Modi described Sardar Patel as the architect of modern India who overcame obstacles to unite the country. Shri Modi wrote that tis year Sardar Patel’s birth anniversary would be even more special because the foundation stone of the Statute of Unity will be laid on 31st October. The Statue would rank among the tallest statues in the world and has been built using PPP model and latest technology, Modi ji further shared on his blog. He sought the blessings and support of the people to make the statue popular across the world.
Narendra Modi also called upon well-wishers to write handwritten letters to their near and dear ones in which they write about voter registration and inspire their family and friends to vote. Modi ji wrote on his blog that it is for the voters to exercise their democratic option and take the nation away from the troubled times.
