ഛത്രപതി ശിവാജി ജയന്തിദിവസത്തില്‍ ഛത്രപതി ശിവാജി മഹാരാജിന് പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി ശ്രീ നരേന്ദ്രമോദി ആദരാജ്ഞലികള്‍ അര്‍പ്പിച്ചു.

ധീരനായ ഒരു പോരാളിയും മികച്ച ഭരണാധികാരിയും എന്ന നിലയില്‍ ഛത്രപതി ശിവാജി മഹാരാജിനെ അടയാളപ്പെടുത്തുന്നു. ശക്തമായ ഒരു നാവികപടയുണ്ടാക്കിയതുമുതല്‍ നിരവധി ജനാനുകൂല നയങ്ങള്‍ ആരംഭിച്ചതിലൂടെയും എല്ലാ മേഖലയിലും അദ്ദേഹം അസാധാരണനായിരുന്നു. ഭീഷണിക്കും അനീതിക്കുമെതിരെയുള്ള നിലപാടില്‍ എന്നും അദ്ദേഹം ഓര്‍മ്മിക്കപ്പെടും”. പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി പറഞ്ഞു.
