ടോക്കിയോയിൽ നടക്കുന്ന പാരാലിമ്പിക്സ് ഗെയിംസിന്റെ തുടക്കത്തിൽ ഇന്ത്യൻ സംഘത്തിന് പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി ശ്രീ നരേന്ദ്ര മോദി ആശംസകൾ നേർന്നു.
ഒരു ട്വീറ്റിൽ പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി പറഞ്ഞു;
"പാരാലിമ്പിക്സ് ആരംഭിക്കുമ്പോൾ, ഇന്ത്യൻ സംഘത്തിന് എന്റെ ആശംസകൾ. #പാരാലിമ്പിക്സിൽ നമ്മുടെ രാജ്യത്തെ പ്രതിനിധീകരിക്കുന്ന എല്ലാ അത്ലറ്റുകളിലും നാം അഭിമാനിക്കുന്നു."
