റാണി ലക്ഷ്മിഭായിയുടെ ജയന്തി ദിനത്തില്‍ പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി ശ്രീ നരേന്ദ്ര മോദി അവര്‍ക്ക് ആദരാഞ്ജലികള്‍ അര്‍പ്പിച്ചു.
ഒരു ട്വീറ്റില്‍ പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി പറഞ്ഞു;
' ജയന്തി ദിനത്തില്‍ ഞാന്‍ ധീരയായ റാണി ലക്ഷ്മിഭായിയെ വണങ്ങുന്നു. അവര്‍ക്ക് ഇന്ത്യയുടെ ചരിത്രത്തില്‍ ഒരു പ്രത്യേക സ്ഥാനമുണ്ട്. അവരുടെ ധീരത തലമുറകള്‍ മറക്കില്ല. ഇന്ത്യയുടെ പ്രതിരോധ മേഖലയെ പരിപോഷിപ്പിക്കുന്ന പരിപാടികളില്‍ പങ്കെടുക്കാന്‍ ഇന്ന് ഝാന്‍സിയില്‍ എത്താന്‍ ഞാന്‍ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നു.
