Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a stirring public meeting in Nagarkurnool, Telangana. He kick-started the anticipation for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, resonating with the pulse of the nation. As the nation braces for the forthcoming electoral process, PM Modi's words echoed the prevailing sentiment of the people, predicting a historic victory.

Highlighting the resolute spirit of the Indian electorate, PM Modi emphasized that even before the official announcement of the election dates, the nation had already proclaimed the results, heralding the possibility of crossing the monumental 400-seat mark. Drawing parallels to the fervor witnessed in Malkajgiri and Nalgonda, he acknowledged the overwhelming support extended by the people of Telangana, reaffirming their determination to usher in a new era of governance under the leadership of the BJP.

Reflecting on the developmental trajectory of Telangana, PM Modi underscored the state's significance as the 'Gateway of the South' and reiterated the NDA government's unwavering commitment to its progress over the past decade. However, he candidly addressed the challenges posed by the political landscape, likening Telangana's plight to being caught between the Congress and BRS, both culpable of impeding its growth.

“Congress and BRS together have shattered every dream of development in Telangana. And now the difficulty is that here, the Congress's grip has tightened. First, the plunder by the BRS, and now, the evil eye of the Congress. It's like falling from the well into the pit. For the Congress, even 5 years are enough to ruin the entire state,” said PM Modi

In a scathing critique of the Congress, PM Modi denounced its legacy of deceit and plunder spanning seven decades, asserting that it could not drive development in Telangana. Contrasting the hollow promises of the past with the transformative agenda of the present, he elucidated the tangible impact of initiatives aimed at poverty alleviation, healthcare, and infrastructure development, heralding a paradigm shift in the lives of millions.

PM Modi said, “Congress used SC, ST, and OBCs as vote banks. The change came only when the country blessed Modi with a full majority. Because the only guarantee of change is Modi's guarantee. But in the last 10 years, for the first time, bank accounts were opened for poor families. For the first time, millions of poor people got the joy of owning a permanent home. For the first time, the poor got facilities like toilets, piped water, electricity connections, and free vaccinations. For the first time, lakhs of villages saw the light of electricity at night. It is the result of this change that for the first time in the last 10 years, 25 crore people have come out of poverty. The same rapid change needs to be brought to Telangana.”

“Modi doesn't want to balance chairs and bank balances for his family by taking votes from you. 140 crore Indians are Modi's family. That's why Modi's guarantee means the guarantee of fulfilling promises. When Modi says that Article 370 will be abolished, it happens. When Modi says that Ram's temple will be built, it happens. When Modi says that our economy will be strong, India becomes the fastest-growing economy in the world,” he added.

Underscoring the BJP's unwavering commitment to social justice, PM Modi lambasted corrupt and dynastic forces like the Congress and BRS for exploiting marginalized communities for political mileage. He exhorted the electorate to reject such divisive politics and embrace a future characterized by inclusivity and empowerment.

The Prime Minister said, “The most benefit of our government's schemes is received by SC, ST, OBCs, women, and farmers. This is the true fight for social justice. Corrupt and dynastic people like Congress and BRS exploit the name of social justice for their political gains. These are the people who had made desperate attempts to defeat Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar in elections. They had also made full efforts to defeat Droupadi Murmu, who belongs to the ST community, in the presidential elections.”

Turning his attention to the prevailing corruption plaguing the political landscape, PM Modi affirmed his resolve to root out malfeasance, extending an impassioned plea for the support of the people of Telangana in this noble endeavor. With the announcement of BJP candidates from Nagarkurnool, Nalgonda, Mahabubnagar, and Secunderabad, he called upon the electorate to repose their trust in the party's nominees, heralding a new chapter in the state's political narrative.

“The partnership of corruption is strongest in dynastic parties. Congress and BRS are partners in corruption. Congress was involved in the 2G scam. BRS indulged in corruption in water, leading to the irrigation scam. Both Congress and BRS support the land mafia. Moreover, BRS is sitting in partnership with other corrupt parties outside the state. This truth is being revealed every day. No corrupt person will be spared, I am promising the people of Telangana today. I need the blessings of Telangana in this fight against corruption,” said PM Modi.

While concluding his address, PM Modi expressed his gratitude for the overwhelming support received in previous elections, expressing confidence in securing double-digit seats in the upcoming polls.
