Prime Minister Narendra Modi today addressed a public meeting in Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh. PM Modi started his address by highlighting how the people of UP have voted for the good governance of BJP in the first 6 phases of the elections and gave responsibility to the people of Mirzapur to continue removing ‘Pariwarvad’ and ‘Mafiawaad’ from UP.

PM Modi spoke on how India has been effectively dealing with one crisis after the other. PM Modi said, “Pandemic, unrest, uncertainty, it is affecting many countries of the world today…India is working day and night to bring back every one of its citizens trapped in the war.” PM Modi further added that during the pandemic, India undertook Operation Vande Bharat to bring back its citizens from overseas; during the Afghanistan crisis, Operation Devishakti was launched for evacuation and now Operation Ganga is underway to bring back thousands of children from Ukraine.

Talking about the need for continued development in UP, PM Modi said, “Uttar Pradesh constantly needs such leadership, that is filled with the spirit of patriotism. Uttar Pradesh constantly needs a leadership that is honest.” Slamming the opposition for their narrow-minded ideologies, PM Modi said, “You know the history of these ‘Pariwarvadis’ very well. Their history is of scams of thousands of crores while looting UP. Their history is of releasing terrorists, helping rioters. Their history is of giving protection to the mafia and nurturing criminals.” PM Modi said that the ‘Pariwarvad’ cannot do any good for the people of UP, their only agenda is to divide the people and loot UP.

PM Modi reiterated the support of the BJP government to the people of Mirzapur. He said, “In the Corona period alone, more than Rs 400 crore has been sent to the farmers of Mirzapur and about Rs 250 crore to the farmers of Bhadohi directly into their bank accounts”. PM Modi further added that it is because of the vote of the mothers-daughters of UP that today we are seeing the development in UP. PM Modi said, “It is not only you who has remained loyal to me, I am loyal to your blessings and will continue to oblige your expectations.”

During the rally, PM Modi said, “These Pariwarvadis did not even allow the poor, mothers and sisters to get the benefits of schemes whose money was being given by the central government.” PM Modi added that before 2017 only 800 houses were built for the poor in Mirzapur but in the last 5 years, 40,000 houses have been sanctioned and 28,000 have been built. He also said these schemes would have helped other sections of the society through the generation of employment and business.

PM Modi finally addressed the plans for Mirzapur. He said, “With the construction of Vindhya Corridor, tourism and pilgrimage will get a great boost here and will develop Mirzapur immensely.”
