പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി ശ്രീ. നരേന്ദ്ര മോദി ഗുജറാത്തിലെ ബാന്ദ്ര- ജാംനഗര്‍ ഹംസഫര്‍ എക്‌സ്പ്രസ് ഫ്‌ളാഗ് ഓഫ് ചെയ്തു. ഗുരു ഗോബിന്ദ്‌സിങ് ഹോസ്പിറ്റലില്‍, 750 കിടക്കകള്‍ ഉള്‍ക്കൊള്ളുന്ന പുതിയ കെട്ടിടവും അദ്ദേഹം രാഷ്ട്രത്തിന് സമര്‍പ്പിച്ചു. വിവിധ സൗനി പദ്ധതികളും അദ്ദേഹം അനാച്ഛാദനം ചെയ്തു. ജാംനഗറിലെ ആജി 3 മുതല്‍ ഖിജദിയ വരെയുള്ള 51 കിലോമീറ്റര്‍ പൈപ്പ് ലൈനടക്കമുള്ള വികസന പദ്ധതികള്‍ക്കും അദ്ദേഹം തുടക്കമിട്ടു.
ജലദൗര്‍ലഭ്യ പ്രശ്‌നം പരിഹരിക്കുന്നതിനായി കഴിഞ്ഞ രണ്ട് ദശാബ്ദത്തിനുള്ളില്‍ ഗുജറാത്ത് ഗവണ്‍മെന്റെ് കൈകൊണ്ട ദൃഢനിശ്ചയത്തെപ്പറ്റിയും കഠിനാധ്വാനത്തെക്കുറിച്ചും പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി സൂചിപ്പിച്ചു. ഈ പശ്ചാത്തലത്തില്‍, ഗുജറാത്തില്‍ ടാങ്കര്‍ രാജ് അനുവദിക്കരുതെന്നും തന്റെ സര്‍ദാര്‍ സരോവര്‍ അണക്കെട്ട് ഗുജറാത്തിലെ ജനങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് എങ്ങനെയാണ് ആശ്വാസമേകിയതെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം സൂചിപ്പിച്ചു. ഭാവി തലമുറയുടെ പ്രയോജനത്തിനായി ഓരോ തുള്ളി ജലവും സംരക്ഷിക്കാന്‍ അദ്ദേഹം ജനങ്ങളോട് അഭ്യര്‍ഥിച്ചു.
ഗുജറാത്തിലെ ആരോഗ്യമേഖലയിലെ വിപ്ലവത്തെ പ്രശംസിച്ച പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി, കഴിഞ്ഞ ഏതാനും വര്‍ഷങ്ങളായി ഗുജറാത്തില്‍ ഉയര്‍ന്നുവന്ന ആശുപത്രികള്‍ ദരിദ്രരെ സഹായിക്കുന്നുണ്ടെന്നും പറഞ്ഞു. കേന്ദ്ര ഗവണ്‍മെന്റ് ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്ത ആയുഷ്മാന്‍ ഭാരത് പദ്ധതി, പാവപ്പെട്ടവര്‍ക്ക് താങ്ങാവുന്നതും ഗുണനിലവാരമുള്ളതുമായ ആരോഗ്യ സംരക്ഷണം ഉറപ്പുനല്‍കുമെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു.
രാജ്യം നേരിടുന്ന വെല്ലുവിളികളെ മറികടക്കാന്‍ ഘടനാപരവും, ദീര്‍ഘകാലം നീണ്ടുനില്‍ക്കുന്നതുമായ നടപടികള്‍ അനിവാര്യമാണെന്ന് പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി പറഞ്ഞു.
ഈ പശ്ചാത്തലത്തില്‍, കേന്ദ്രസര്‍ക്കാര്‍ അവതരിപ്പിച്ച ദീര്‍ഘ ദൃഷ്ടിയുള്ള പദ്ധതികളെക്കുറിച്ച് അദ്ദേഹം സൂചിപ്പിച്ചു. കര്‍ഷകരുടെ ക്ഷേമത്തിനായി ദീര്‍ഘകാലത്തേക്കുള്ളതും സമഗ്രവുമായ പദ്ധതിയാണ് പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി-കിസാന്‍ പദ്ധതിയെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു.
സൂക്ഷ്മ ചെറുകിട ഇടത്തര, വ്യവസായമേഖലയെ മേഖലയെ ശക്തിപ്പെടുത്തുന്നതിനായുള്ള കേന്ദ്ര ഗവണ്‍മെന്റിന്റെ ശ്രമങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ച് സംസാരിക്കവേ, വേഗത്തിലുള്ള വായ്പാ ലഭ്യതയും ജനസൗഹൃദമായ ജിഎസ്ടിയുമെല്ലാം യുവാക്കള്‍ക്ക് ഗുണകരമാകുമെന്നും പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി പറഞ്ഞു. കേന്ദ്ര ഗവണ്‍മെന്റ് കൈക്കൊണ്ട നടപടികള്‍ വ്യാപാരം സുഗമമാക്കല്‍ റാങ്കിങ്ങ് മെച്ചപ്പെടുത്തിയതായും അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു.
സായുധ സേനകളുടെ പരിശ്രമങ്ങളെ പ്രശംസിക്കവെ, രാഷ്ട്രം മുഴുവനും സൈനികരുടെ പേരില്‍ അഭിമാനിക്കുന്നുണ്ടെന്നും പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി പറഞ്ഞു. ഭീകരതയുടെ ഭീഷണി ഇല്ലാതാക്കുകയാണ് വേണ്ടതെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു.
