PM to attend Loktantra Prahari Abhinandan at Vigyan Bhawan, Delhi
PM to visit Mumbai, lay foundation stone of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Memorial

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, will attend the Loktantra Prahari Abhinandan at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi tomorrow. This event is being organized on the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Loknayak Jayaprakash Narayan.

The Prime Minister will later visit Mumbai.

He will pay respects to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar at Chaitya Bhoomi, and unveil a plaque to mark the laying of the Foundation Stone of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Memorial at the Indu Mills Compound.

The Prime Minister will lay the Foundation Stone for the fourth container terminal at Jawaharlal Nehru Port, and for two metro corridors. The Prime Minister will address a public meeting at the MMRDA Grounds in Bandra-Kurla Complex, Mumbai.

First such instance that a Prime Minister will attend such a programme at the Headquarters of the Catholic Church in India

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will attend the Christmas Celebrations hosted by the Catholic Bishops' Conference of India (CBCI) at the CBCI Centre premises, New Delhi at 6:30 PM on 23rd December.

Prime Minister will interact with key leaders from the Christian community, including Cardinals, Bishops and prominent lay leaders of the Church.

This is the first time a Prime Minister will attend such a programme at the Headquarters of the Catholic Church in India.

Catholic Bishops' Conference of India (CBCI) was established in 1944 and is the body which works closest with all the Catholics across India.
