Eight-member delegation of British Parliamentarians meets PM Modi
The relations between India and UK have strong bipartisan support in both countries: PMIndia and UK are natural partners in the global fight against terrorism: PMബ്രിട്ടീഷ് പാര്‍ലമെന്റ് അംഗങ്ങളുടെ ഒരു 8 അംഗ പ്രതിനിധി സംഘം ന്യൂ ഡഹിയില്‍ ഇന്ന് പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി ശ്രീ. നരേന്ദ്ര മോദിയെ സന്ദര്‍ശിച്ചു.
ഇന്ത്യയും ബ്രിട്ടണും തമ്മിലുള്ള ബന്ധങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് ഇരു രാജ്യങ്ങളിലും ശക്തമായ ഭരണ പ്രതിപക്ഷ പിന്‍തുണയുണ്ടെന്ന് പറഞ്ഞ പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി, രണ്ട് രാജ്യങ്ങളുടെയും പാര്‍ലമെന്റ് അംഗങ്ങള്‍ തമ്മില്‍ വര്‍ദ്ധിച്ച പാരസ്പര്യം വേണമെന്ന് ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടു.
2015 നവംബറില്‍ താന്‍ നടത്തിയ ബ്രിട്ടണ്‍ സന്ദര്‍ശനത്തെയും 2016 നവംബറില്‍ ബ്രിട്ടീഷ് പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി ശ്രീമതി തെരെസാ മേയുടെ ഇന്ത്യന്‍ സന്ദര്‍ശനത്തെയും സ്‌നേഹത്തോടെ പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി അനുസ്മരിച്ചു. 2017 നെ ഇന്ത്യ-യു.കെ സാംസ്‌കാരിക വര്‍ഷമായി ആഘോഷിക്കുന്നതിനെ അദ്ദേഹം സ്വാഗതം ചെയ്തു.
ഭീകരതയ്‌ക്കെതിരായ ആഗോള പോരാട്ടത്തില്‍ ഇന്ത്യയും ബ്രിട്ടണും സ്വാഭാവിക പങ്കാളികളാണെന്ന് പറഞ്ഞ പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി, ഭീകരത, തീവ്രവാദം, മൗലികവാദം എന്നിവയ്‌ക്കെതിരെ തങ്ങളുടെ കൂട്ടായ ശബ്ദം ഉയര്‍ത്താന്‍ പാര്‍ലമെന്റ് അംഗങ്ങളെ ആഹ്വാനം ചെയ്തു.
