Shri Narendra Modi addressed lakhs of BJP Karyakartas spread across 6 Lok Sabha constituencies of Gujarat as a part of the Vijay Vishwas Sneh Sammelan. The seats from whom Shri Modi addressed Karyakartas are Kheda, Anand, Kutch, Patan, Mehsana and Sabarkantha. Shri Narendra Modi urged the Karyakartas to embrace latest technology and said that the Karyakartas of Gujarat can show the way in this regard. “Organisation + Technology, we should think on these lines. It is due to technology that I can interact with you many you and I am really happy to be able to do so,” he said.

Shri Modi observed that the BJP has been in power in Gujarat for a very long time but still the BJP Karyakarta has not got complacent. He said, “The excitement of our Karyakartas is increasing. Our Karyakarta feels that he or she can give a lot to the nation. This Sneh Milan is a very Satvic programme but see how many Karyakartas have gathered. It shows we have taken the right direction. I congratulate everyone working for the organisation. You are doing wonderful work.”

Vijay Vishwas Sneh Sammelan

He inspired the Karyakartas to work hard in order to fulfill the aspirations of the people. Shri Modi opined that in a time when the entire nation is rallying behind the BJP, the responsibility of the BJP Karyakarta is greater. He urged them to integrate elders and people from all walks of life with the BJP. “Trust is the key. Common people have faith in the BJP and they feel that if there is someone who can save the sinking ship of our nation it is the BJP. And we cannot disappoint them. We have to devote ourselves to fulfilling the aspirations of the people,” said Shri Modi.

Shri Modi urged the Karyakartas to go to the people and be very open with them, for the BJP has nothing to hide. He spoke about winning at the booth level, thus going beyond winning only seats. Shri Modi pointed that out of the 6 seats he is addressing, 3 (Kheda, Anand, Patan) are with the Congress and that the Karyakartas must put in more effort till the very end to ensure maximum seats are won by the BJP. He opined that 2014 is not an ordinary election but an opportunity of Gujarat Gaurav and to achieve success, the Karyakartas must begin from the polling booth.

During his speech Shri Modi talked about the Statue of Unity and urged Karyakartas to join the Run for Unity on Sardar Patel’s Punya Tithi on 15th December. He also called for Vijay Vrati Karyakartas who would devote the coming days towards making the BJP victorious in 2014 Lok Sabha elections.

PM Modi’s remarks during the BRICS session: Peace and Security
July 06, 2025

Friends,

Global peace and security are not just ideals, rather they are the foundation of our shared interests and future. Progress of humanity is possible only in a peaceful and secure environment. BRICS has a very important role in fulfilling this objective. It is time for us to come together, unite our efforts, and collectively address the challenges we all face. We must move forward together.

Friends,

Terrorism is the most serious challenge facing humanity today. India recently endured a brutal and cowardly terrorist attack. The terrorist attack in Pahalgam on 22nd April was a direct assault on the soul, identity, and dignity of India. This attack was not just a blow to India but to the entire humanity. In this hour of grief and sorrow, I express my heartfelt gratitude to the friendly countries who stood with us and expressed support and condolences.

Condemning terrorism must be a matter of principle, and not just of convenience. If our response depends on where or against whom the attack occurred, it shall be a betrayal of humanity itself.

Friends,

There must be no hesitation in imposing sanctions on terrorists. The victims and supporters of terrorism cannot be treated equally. For the sake of personal or political gain, giving silent consent to terrorism or supporting terrorists or terrorism, should never be acceptable under any circumstances. There should be no difference between our words and actions when it comes to terrorism. If we cannot do this, then the question naturally arises whether we are serious about fighting terrorism or not?

Friends,

Today, from West Asia to Europe, the whole world is surrounded by disputes and tensions. The humanitarian situation in Gaza is a cause of grave concern. India firmly believes that no matter how difficult the circumstances, the path of peace is the only option for the good of humanity.

India is the land of Lord Buddha and Mahatma Gandhi. We have no place for war and violence. India supports every effort that takes the world away from division and conflict and leads us towards dialogue, cooperation, and coordination; and increases solidarity and trust. In this direction, we are committed to cooperation and partnership with all friendly countries. Thank you.

Friends,

In conclusion, I warmly invite all of you to India next year for the BRICS Summit, which will be held under India’s chairmanship.

Thank you very much.
