India is emerging as a major maritime power in the world: PM at dedication of three naval combatants in Mumbai

PM Modi dedicated three frontline naval combatants, INS Surat, INS Nilgiri and INS Vaghsheer, to the nation on their commissioning at the Naval Dockyard in Mumbai. “It is for the first time that the tri-commissioning of a destroyer, frigate and submarine was being done”, highlighted the Prime Minister. He emphasised that it was also a matter of pride that all three frontline platforms were made in India.

പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി ശ്രീ നരേന്ദ്ര മോദി ഇന്ന് മൂന്ന് മുന്‍നിര നാവിക കപ്പലുകളായ ഐഎന്‍എസ് സൂറത്ത്, ഐഎന്‍എസ് നീലഗിരി, ഐഎന്‍എസ് വാഘ്ഷീര്‍ എന്നിവ മുംബൈയിലെ നേവല്‍ ഡോക്ക് യാര്‍ഡില്‍ കമ്മീഷന്‍ ചെയ്തു. തുടർന്ന് ഇവ രാജ്യത്തിന് സമര്‍പ്പിച്ചു. കരസേനാ ദിനമായി ആചരിക്കുന്ന ജനുവരി 15 ന് രാജ്യത്തിന്റെ സുരക്ഷയ്ക്കും സംരക്ഷണത്തിനും വേണ്ടി ജീവന്‍ ത്യജിക്കുന്ന ഓരോ ധീര യോദ്ധാവിനെയും അഭിവാദ്യം ചെയ്യുന്നതായി സദസിനെ അഭിസംബോധന ചെയ്തു ശ്രീ മോദി പറഞ്ഞു. ഈ അവസരത്തില്‍ എല്ലാ ധീര യോദ്ധാക്കളെയും അദ്ദേഹം അഭിനന്ദിച്ചു.
