Cabinet approves one more semiconductor unit under India Semiconductor Mission (ISM)

The Union Cabinet, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has approved the establishment of another semiconductor unit under the India Semiconductor Mission. This new facility, to be set up in Sanand, Gujarat by Kaynes Semicon Pvt Ltd, involves an investment of ₹3,300 crore and will produce 60 lakh chips daily.
