PM Modi arrives in Georgetown, Guyana

Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Georgetown, Guyana. In a special gesture, he was warmly received by President Irfaan Ali, PM Mark Anthony Phillips, senior ministers and other dignitaries at the airport. 2024 നവംബർ 20 മുതൽ 21 വരെ ഗയാനയിലേക്കുള്ള ഔദ്യോഗിക സന്ദർശനത്തിനായി പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി ശ്രീ നരേന്ദ്ര മോദി ജോർജ് ടൗണിൽ എത്തി. 56 വർഷത്തിനിടെ ഇതാദ്യമായാണ് ഒരു ഇന്ത്യൻ പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി ഗയാന സന്ദർശിക്കുന്നത്. വിമാനത്താവളത്തിലെത്തിയ അദ്ദേഹത്തെ ഗയാന പ്രസിഡന്റ് ഡോ. മുഹമ്മദ് ഇർഫാൻ അലി, ഗയാന പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി ബ്രിഗേഡിയർ (റിട്ട.) മാർക്ക് ആന്തണി ഫിലിപ്‌സ് എന്നിവർ ആചാരപരമായി സ്വീകരിച്ചു. ഗയാന ഗവണ്മെന്റിലെ ഒരു ഡസനിലധികം ക്യാബിനറ്റ് മന്ത്രിമാരും ചടങ്ങിൽ പങ്കെടുത്തു.
