Prime Minister Modi addressed the Global Potato Conclave in Gandhinagar, Gujarat via video conferencing. PM Modi highlighted the steps being undertaken to double the income of farmers by 2022. ഗുജറാത്തിലെ ഗാന്ധിനഗറില്‍ നടക്കുന്ന മൂന്നാമത് ആഗോള ഉരുളക്കിഴങ്ങ് കോണ്‍ക്ലേവിനെ വീഡിയോ കോണ്‍ഫറന്‍സിംഗിലൂടെ പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി ഇന്ന് അഭിസംബോധന ചെയ്തു. കഴിഞ്ഞ രണ്ടു ആഗോള ഉരുളക്കിഴങ്ങ് കോണ്‍ഫറന്‍സുകള്‍ 1999-ലും 2008-ലുമാണ് നടന്നത്. ന്യൂഡല്‍ഹിയിലെ ഇന്ത്യന്‍ കൗണ്‍സില്‍ ഓഫ് അഗ്രികള്‍ച്ചറല്‍ റിസര്‍ച്ച്, ഷിംലയിലെ ഐ.സി.എ.ആര്‍-കേന്ദ്ര ഉരുളക്കിഴങ്ങ് ഗവേഷണ കേന്ദ്രം, പെറുവിലെ ലിമയിലെ അന്താരാഷ്ട്ര ഉരുളക്കിഴങ്ങ് കേന്ദ്രം എന്നിവരുടെ സഹായത്തോടെ ഇന്ത്യന്‍ പൊട്ടറ്റോ അസോസിയേഷന്‍ (ഐ.പി.എ)ആണ് കോണ്‍ക്ലേവ് സംഘടിപ്പിക്കുന്നത്.ഗുജറാത്തിലെ ഗാന്ധിനഗറില്‍ നടക്കുന്ന മൂന്നാമത് ആഗോള പൊട്ടറ്റോ (ഉരുളക്കിഴങ്ങ്) കോണ്‍ക്ലേവിനെ പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി നാളെ അഭിസംബോധന ചെയ്യും
