പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി ശ്രീ നരേന്ദ്ര മോദി ഇന്ന് അസ്സമിലെ ഗുവാഹത്തിയിൽ അഡ്വാന്റേജ് അസ്സം 2.0 നിക്ഷേപ-അടിസ്ഥാന സൗകര്യ ഉച്ചകോടി 2025 ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്തു. കിഴക്കേ ഇന്ത്യയും വടക്കു-കിഴക്കേ ഇന്ത്യയും ഭാവിയിലേക്കുള്ള ഒരു പുതിയ യാത്ര ആരംഭിക്കുകയാണെന്നും അസ്സമിന്റെ അതുല്യ സാധ്യതകളെയും പുരോഗതിയെയും ലോകവുമായി ബന്ധിപ്പിക്കുന്നതിനുള്ള ഒരു മെഗാ സംരംഭമാണ് അഡ്വാന്റേജ് അസ്സം എന്നും പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി പറഞ്ഞു. ഇന്ത്യയുടെ അഭിവൃദ്ധിയിൽ കിഴക്കേ ഇന്ത്യ വഹിച്ച സുപ്രധാന പങ്കിന് ചരിത്രം സാക്ഷിയാണെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം കൂട്ടിച്ചേർത്തു. ഇന്ന്, നമ്മൾ വികസിത ഭാരതത്തിലേക്ക് പുരോഗമിക്കുമ്പോൾ, കിഴക്കൻ ഇന്ത്യയും വടക്കുകിഴക്കൻ സംസ്ഥാനങ്ങളും അവരുടെ യഥാർത്ഥ സാധ്യതകൾ പ്രദർശിപ്പിക്കും. അദ്ദേഹം പ്രത്യാശ പ്രകടിപ്പിച്ചു. അതേ മനോഭാവമാണ് അഡ്വാന്റേജ് അസ്സം പ്രതിനിധാനം ചെയ്യുന്നതെന്നും ഇത്രയും മഹത്തായ ഒരു പരിപാടി സംഘടിപ്പിച്ചതിന് അസ്സം ഗവണ്മെന്റിനെയും മുഖ്യമന്ത്രിയെയും അഭിനന്ദിക്കുന്നതായും അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു. 'എ ഫോർ അസ്സം' എന്ന മാതൃക പ്രവർത്തികമാകുന്ന കാലം വിദൂരമല്ലെന്ന് 2013-ൽ പറഞ്ഞ വാക്കുകൾ അദ്ദേഹം അനുസ്മരിച്ചു.
