The Vibrant Gujarat Global Investors’ Summit-2009 concluded today, touching golden heights, the science city ground shimmered with unbridled investment inflows. Deliberating upon the outcome of the Summit, Chief Minister said, “Gujarat has offered a model for economic progress and development for the developing nations. The vibrant Gujarat is all set to become Global Gujarat.”
Dedicating the total success of the Summit to the youth, Chief Minister revealed that 25 lakh employments are to be generated, which is really a true reward for the skilled and empowered youth.
Chief Minister said, “My heart is swelling with glory that despite the recessionary trends and pessimistic economic climate, Gujarat has replaced crisis, meltdown, recession and slow downs with confidence, opportunity, vibrancy and stability. The message of confidence and hope has gone in to the world from the summit. The Investors’ Summit is established as the World Economic Conference of Davos. Gujarat is playing a decisive role in making India an economic Super Power. “
In the next Investors’ Summit, Gujarat is committed to provide a unique platform ,where any investor from any part of the world can sign a MOU with the industry of his choice ,any where in the world, added the Chief Minister. Gujarat is all set to build strong foundation with more perfection and vibrancy. Summit is a powerful instrument to change mindset. It motivates the investors’ and developing nations to change their mindset.
Gujarat has been dealing in Non Conventional sector with inking the MOUs worth Rs. 1 Lakh Crores in it. With special thrust on clean energy, Green Energy, Solar and Wind Energy, Gujarat is committed accept the challenges of climate change and global warming.

Gujarat has a broader perspective, receptive to excellent and creative visions. Gujarat invests in people. Progress is policy driven, and Gujarat is fully committed to achieve HDI goals by according top priority to create world class educational facilities, and vocational skill developments. MOUs are signed with world renowned institutes in this regard.
Chief Minister outlined the theme of infusing efficiency and new strength in the SME sector by bringing in qualitative changes in the manufacturing sector. Summit has made tremendous contribution to achieve the laudable goal.
Chief Minister dedicated the historic success of the Summit to the youths. Japan has come forward as the partner country; it shows the strength and capability of Gujarat. “More important is, who is investing? Why he prefers Gujarat? Than the capital investment. It has been proved beyond all doubts, which no investment has ever gone back due to the error in the policy or any other reason from the Government side.”
Everyone has realised the transparent policies, and has experience the good governance of Gujarat. He expressed his resolve to ameliorate the living conditions of the families living below poverty line.
