"ಅವರ 100 ನೇ ಜನ್ಮ ವಾರ್ಷಿಕೋತ್ಸವದಂದು, ಬಹುಮುಖ ಪಂಡಿತ್ ಭೀಮಸೇನ್ ಜೋಶಿ ಜಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸ್ಮರಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಅವರ ಕೃತಿಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ, ಅವರು ಭಾರತೀಯ ಸಂಗೀತ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಯನ್ನು ಜನಪ್ರಿಯಗೊಳಿಸುವ ನಿಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹತ್ತರ ಕೊಡುಗೆಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡಿದರು. ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಗಾಯನದ ಮೂಲಕ ನಮ್ಮ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರವನ್ನು ಆಪ್ತಗೊಳಿಸಿದರು." ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
