QuoteWest Bengal encourages corruption, encourages crime and in exchange for protection to criminals: PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed an overjoyed crowd in Arambagh, West Bengal. The PM initiated his valuable thoughts by thanking the people of West Bengal for their endless love, affection, respect and loyalty. The PM showered his admiration and also expressed his hope towards transforming West Bengal with highly ambitious development projects.

The PM remarked, “Today when I have come to Bengal, I can say that today's India is fulfilling his dream.” The PM went on to reminisce about the excellent heights achieved by India in the past 10 years and said, “India has risen from the 11th ranked economy to the 5th ranked economic power. We all have seen how India was cheered in the G20. Today India is becoming a leader in the space sector. Our Chandrayaan has done the work which no country in the world could do.”

Praising the rich cultural heritage of the country in its full glory, the PM mentioned that the way West Bengal has welcomed Ramlalla with its arms wide open is extremely special and noted: “The faith that the people of Bengal have towards Shri Ram is visible to the entire country.”

In a sorry state of affairs, the PM expressed that the entire nation is dismayed by the situation in Bengal. “TMC's actions in Sandeshkhali have sparked anger and sadness nationwide. Despite calling itself Maa-Mati-Manush, TMC leaders have shown atrocious audacity towards the women of Sandeshkhali. When these women sought help from Mamata Didi, they were met with indifference as the Bengal government prioritized protecting the TMC leader,” he said.

|

The PM made the audience aware that “Under pressure from BJP, Bengal Police finally arrested the accused yesterday. This criminal leader of TMC remained absconding for 55 days during TMC rule.” Today the commoners are asking Mamata Didi “Has the vote of some people become more important for you than the victims of Sandeshkhali?” the PM added.

Taking a sharp jibe at the opposition, PM Modi remarked strongly, “Big leaders of the INDI Alliance are sitting with their eyes, ears and mouth closed on Sandeshkhali. They hold meetings together in Patna, Bengaluru, Mumbai, God knows where, but did the Left Congress seek answers from the Chief Minister here? These people did not even spare a glance towards these sisters of Sandeshkhali.”
The PM reiterated that “West Bengal encourages corruption, encourages crime and in exchange for protection to criminals, TMC leaders get huge sums of money.” The PM reminded one of the greatest scams in Bengal including committing scams in the recruitment of primary teachers in exchange for money.

|

The PM mentioned that the TMC party is embroiled in scams across various sectors - from municipality recruitments to ration distribution. They exploit the poor and middle class by seizing their land. Corruption extends to chit funds, animal smuggling, and more. PM Modi even noted that pieces of evidence of corruption, including stacks of cash in TMC ministers' homes have surfaced and are surfacing multiple numbers of times. The state government with no iota of accountability is even obstructing central investigative agencies.

|

Taking out pages from the success book of the Modi government, the PM shared that more than 4 crore poor families across the country have got permanent houses. Pointing out the sluggish progress of the Bengal government, the PM pinpointed that the Central government has approved 45 lakh houses and released Rs 42,000 crores for the poor in West Bengal but the state government hasn’t implemented any.

“Within 4 years, 11 crore new families across the country have got tap water facilities. But the West Bengal government is working at a snail's pace to provide water to every house. It is simply not concerned with the problems of mothers, sisters and daughters”, the PM added.

The PM also maintained that “Only when West Bengal develops, India will also develop.”

Showing a way forward towards a brighter future, the PM said good days would only arrive if “in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, Lotus blooms on 40 seats of West Bengal.” TMC’s vote bank politics and pride would be destroyed by the commoners’ voice itself.

|

In a warm and gratifying conclusion, the PM thanked each and everyone for their presence in large numbers and hoped for the departure of TMC and its unstable, inhuman government. The PM also asked every commoner in the crowd to go back to their respective villages and give their dear ones Modi ji’s greetings.
