The NDA government is continuously working to ensure strong and equitable development for the North-East at par with other regions of the country and aim to make Arunachal Pradesh the gateway to East Asia: PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed his first rally for the day in Pasighat in the North-Eastern state of Arunachal Pradesh today.

Highlighting the milestones achieved by his government since assuming power in 2014, PM Modi said, “It was after 7 decades of independence that we were able to provide electricity to each village in Arunachal Pradesh and are rapidly moving towards building a solid connectivity network in the state to fulfill our goal of ‘Transport to Transformation’ and make Arunachal Pradesh the gateway to East Asia.

Reminding his supporters about the significance of the upcoming elections, Prime Minister Modi asserted, “The voters have to choose between those that only make hollow promises or those that actually fulfill them in the coming elections, these elections are between those that neglected the needs and aspirations of the people of Arunachal for decades or those that have worked tirelessly since the last five years to develop Arunachal and broadly the North-East.”

Taking on the Opposition parties, especially the Congress for making only making false promises without making any efforts to fulfill them, Prime Minister Modi said that the people are well-aware of the hollowness of election promises made by the Congress as it has time and again betrayed the people’s faith in them and added, “We did not promise that we will build a toilet for every household in our campaigning but we did it, neither did we promise the farmers that we will provide them financial assistance annually through the PM-KISAN Yojana but we have done it.

The people know well how to differentiate between the falsehood of Congress and the honest efforts of the BJP and so they will not repose their trust in such deceptive politicians.”

PM to distribute over 50 lakh property cards to property owners under SVAMITVA Scheme
December 26, 2024
Drone survey already completed in 92% of targeted villages
Around 2.2 crore property cards prepared

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will distribute over 50 lakh property cards under SVAMITVA Scheme to property owners in over 46,000 villages in 200 districts across 10 States and 2 Union territories on 27th December at around 12:30 PM through video conferencing.

SVAMITVA scheme was launched by Prime Minister with a vision to enhance the economic progress of rural India by providing ‘Record of Rights’ to households possessing houses in inhabited areas in villages through the latest surveying drone technology.

The scheme also helps facilitate monetization of properties and enabling institutional credit through bank loans; reducing property-related disputes; facilitating better assessment of properties and property tax in rural areas and enabling comprehensive village-level planning.

Drone survey has been completed in over 3.1 lakh villages, which covers 92% of the targeted villages. So far, around 2.2 crore property cards have been prepared for nearly 1.5 lakh villages.

The scheme has reached full saturation in Tripura, Goa, Uttarakhand and Haryana. Drone survey has been completed in the states of Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh and also in several Union Territories.
