Addressing the cordial meet of trade and industries, Chief Minister Shri Narendrabhai Modi expressed his profound confidence, "Future of India belongs to Gujarat. With the inherent strength and immense potential, Gujarat is destined to bring glory for the nation."
He reiterated his resolve to achieve the HDI parameters of the developed nations for Gujarat.
President Gujarat Chambers of Commerce and Industries Shri Rupesh Shah had organised the cordial meet to recognize marvelous contributions from the members in architecting the glorious and unprecedented success of the Vibrant Gujarat Global Investors' Summit-2009.
Gujarat has immense potential and strengths, with appropriate coordination, Gujarat can achieve the significant improvements in Human Development Index, which is the prime agenda of present government. Efforts are aimed to bring qualitative changes in the life of a common man; the Jan-Shakti is powering the vision with its active contributions in education, healthcare and many other sectors. He highlighted the successes of Chiranjeevi scheme, significant breakthroughs made in addressing the issue of mal-nutrition. People are contributing for the cause; they are distributing Sukhadi-the healthy diet supplement. He also highlighted the benefits of 108 –Emergency Services, Aanganwadi Up gradation and the outcomes of Beti Bachavo movement.
The quality changes in the justice delivery mechanism in Gujarat have reduced the pendency of 75 Lakh court cases.
