With the mission of integrating the Yuva Shakti into the development journey and preparing them for larger leadership roles, the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) has launched ‘Yuva Sadasya- Yuva Mitra Abhiyan’ that gives youngsters the opportunity to join BJYM and contribute towards nation building. The BJYM has adopted this membership drive with the clarion call of ‘Judega Yuva, Badlega Bharat’ (the youth shall join, India shall change). The membership drive was lauched across India on 23rd July, which is the birth anniversary of noted freedom fighter Shri Chandrashekhar Azad. The target of this Abhiyan is to register 1 crore youngsters with BJYM.
Speaking at the launch of the Abhiyan, Shri Anurag Thakur had said that the time has come for a Congress free India because Shri Narendra Modi’s dream of a ‘Congress Mukt Bharat, Vikas Yukt Bharat’ will be possible when the youth reject the Congress and embrace the BJP.
Time and again, Shri Narendra Modi has stressed on the importance of youth in the process of nation building. He is one person who sees our demographic dividend as a big strength and has repeatedly called for strengthening the hands of our nation’s dynamic Yuva Shakti.
This initiative by the BJYM gives the youngsters a wonderful chance to work towards creating an India that is happy, peaceful, prosperous and self-reliant. In a time when the nation is besieged with misgovernance at the Centre including corruption, policy paralysis and a weak response to terror, it becomes even more important for the youth to rise to the occasion and give back to the nation. When the world is looking at us with anticipation, when our nation has the potential to lead the world in this century, it is the duty of the youth to ensure that the dreams of our forefathers of a strong and developed India are fulfilled.
