Prime Minister Modi addressed the Global Potato Conclave in Gandhinagar, Gujarat via video conferencing. PM Modi highlighted the steps being undertaken to double the income of farmers by 2022. ವಿಡಿಯೋ ಕಾನ್ಫೆರೆನ್ಸ್ ಮೂಲಕ ಇಂದು ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಮಂತ್ರಿಯವರು ಗುಜರಾತ್ ನ ಗಾಂಧಿನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿರುವ 3 ನೇ ಜಾಗತಿಕ ಆಲೂಗಡ್ಡೆ ಸಮಾವೇಶ ಉದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು ಹಿಂದಿನ 2 ಜಾಗತಿಕ ಆಲೂಗಡ್ಡೆ ಸಮಾವೇಶಗಳನ್ನು 1999 ಮತ್ತು 2008 ರಲ್ಲಿ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ನವದೆಹಲಿಯ ಭಾರತೀಯ ಕೃಷಿ ಸಂಶೋಧನಾ ಮಂಡಳಿ ಮತ್ತು ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಆಲೂಗಡ್ಡೆ ಸಂಶೋಧನಾ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ (ಐಸಿಎಆರ್), ಶಿಮ್ಲಾ ಹಾಗೂ ಪೆರುವಿನ ಲಿಮಾದ ಅಂತಾರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಆಲೂಗಡ್ಡೆ ಕೇಂದ್ರ (ಸಿಐಪಿ) ಸಹಭಾಗಿತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರತೀಯ ಆಲೂಗಡ್ಡೆ ಸಂಶೋಧನ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ ಈ ಸಮಾವೇಶವನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ.
